A peur des humains, besoin de calme et de patience
Ce beau chat demeurait dans une maison de Verdun, où il y avait déjà trop de chats. Plusieurs de ces chats avaient déjà été donnés par la famille avant l'intervention du Refuge. Ils ont accepté que nous recueillions les chats afin qu'ils soient vaccinés et stérilisés avant l'âge de six mois. Watson est un très beau chat, mais il est aussi très timide avec les humains. Il vit présentement avec d'autres chats et deux gros chiens. Il accepte difficilement les caresses et les câlins, bien qu'à l'occasion, il aime se coucher en boule sur le lit de sa maîtresse. Il a besoin d'un foyer calme, probablement chez une personne vivant seule, souvent disponible, et qui prendra le temps de l'amadouer afin qu'il réalise tout l'amour qu'il peut recevoir des humains.
Afraid of humans, needs calm and patience
This cute cat is one of many kittens who were living in Verdun in a house with just too many cats —in fact, many kittens were given away by the family before the refuge became involved and the family agreed to let us take them, have them vaccinated and sterilized. Watson is extremely handsome— and extremely shy. He is used to living in a home with many other cats and two big dogs and he gets along well with them but he is reluctant to be cuddled —or even petted— although he does curl up on the bed with his foster mom on occassion. He needs to find a quiet home, probably someone living alone who is almost always there and who will give Watson the time he needs to feel comfortable and secure. With time and patience, however, this sweet cat may well become the cat he should be —friendly, loving and a great companion to have at home.
